Massindo Group Received Award from Munich Tourism Germany

JAKARTA, – Massindo Group, a premium bedding company; held the annual Massindo Awards 2013 in Austria and Germany. Attended by 320 best dealers and their families from many parts of Indonesia, their arrival was welcomed directly by the Munich Tourism Board.

“The award was presented by Geraldine Knudson, Director of Munich Tourism,” said Jeffri Massie, President Director of Massindo Group, to in Jakarta on Tuesday (01/10/2013).

Jeffri said, Massindo Awards 2013 is one of the events to celebrate the company’s anniversary that was established 30 years ago. Packaged in tour, Massindo Awards 2013 participants were invited to travel around Austria and Germany to visit key locations in Austria and Germany; Schloss Schonbrunn, Hofburg Palace, Prater Amusement Park, Schloss Mirabell, and Mozart House in Vienna and Salzburg, Austria.  While in Germany, among other locations they visited were Munich, Neuschwanstein Castle, BMW Museum and Allianz Arena.

The Massindo’s award is divided into several categories; The Champion of Display, The Champion of Loyalty, The Champion of Growth and The Champion of Sales.

“It is a tradition to appreciate the hard work of all the best dealers who successfully achieved the best selling in one year period,” said Jeffri.

Massindo Group, a company engaged in the bedding industry, was established in 1983.  Several premium brands under its wing are Spring Air, Therapedic, Comforta, MySide, and Protect-A-Bed.

Last year, Massindo was given The Best Innovation in Marketing and The Best in Experiential Marketing awards from Marketing Magazine. The company was also awarded with Rekor Bisnis (REBI) as the first bedding company with the most active dealers. Recorded to date, Massindo Group are exist in 15 major cities in Indonesia with 13 factories and 2 distribution warehouses; Medan, Pekanbaru, Jakarta, Bandung, Semarang, Surabaya, Samarinda, Denpasar, Makassar, Kendari, Palu, Gorontalo, Manado, Kotamobagu, and Ternate.
