Massindo Group Named Indonesia’s Most Admired Company

Jakarta, June 12, 2017 – PT Massindo International (Massindo Group) was recognized once again, this time as Indonesia’s Most Admired Company in Corporate Image Award held in Hotel Mulia Main Ballroom, Jakarta on June 10, 2017. On the long-standing annual event, now in its 17th year, the largest bedding manufacturer in Indonesia is named the Most Admired Company in bedding category. The award strongly attests to the customers’ satisfaction and trust in Massindo Group and five brands under its umbrella, namely Comforta, Spring Air, Therapedic, Protect-A-Bed, and Superfit.

The accolade also marks another addition to the portfolio of its outstanding achievements over the time. Among others are Indonesian Customer Satisfaction Awards (ICSA) in 2015 and 2016; TOP BRAND Award in 2015, 2016, and 2017; The Most Creative Company in 2016; and lastly, Indonesia Digital Popular Brand Award in 2017.

Corporate Image Award 2017 was held by Frontier Consulting Group in collaboration with Tempo Media Group through surveys in 3 (three) big cities of Indonesia: Jakarta, Surabaya, and Medan with a total of 3,000 respondents covering 110 industry categories. The interviewed respondents comprise of 660 Public Communities, 1,140 Middle-Up Management (Managerial positions), 1,020 Investors, as well as 180 Journalists. The surveys were conducted through face-to-face interview from March to April 2017 with voters asked to evaluate four dimensions: Quality, Performance, Responsibility, and Attractiveness in order to generate an overall score of Corporate Image Index (CII).

Based on the survey results, Massindo Group is voted as a bedding company with the number one Corporate Image Index and the most satisfying performance by the business circle, investors, media, and general public with total score of Corporate Image Index 1.312 (Excellent).

PT Massindo International (Comforta, Spring Air, Therapedic, Superfit and Protect-A-Bed) outshone its competitors such as PT Dynasti Indomegah (American Pillo) which scored 1.212, PT Duta Abadi Primantara (King Koil, Serta, Florence, Tempur) which scored 1.160, PT Dinamika Indonusa Prima (Airland, Simmons) which earned 0.798, and lastly, PT Royal Abadi Sejahtera (Elite, Lady Americana) which scored 0.517.

In fact, the recognition made such a huge impression for Massindo Group. Not only does the award strengthen its reputation, but also put it on the same level as other renowned companies in Indonesia which receive the same award this year, such as PT Tirta Investama (AQUA), PT Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk (INDOMIE), PT Salim Invomas Pratama (BIMOLI), PT Santos Jaya Abadi (KAPAL API), PT Surya Toto Indonesia Tbk (TOTO), PT Samsung Electronics Indonesia (SAMSUNG), PT Trans Retail Indonesia (Carrefour), PT Panen Lestari Internusa (SOGO), PT Matahari Department Store (MATAHARI), PT Bank Central Asia (BCA), PT Panorama JTB Tours Indonesia, and PT Toyota Astra Motor.

On top of that, Massindo Group also owes such marvelous accomplishment to its own perpetual commitment in reaching out to the families and communities around the country through expansion of Sleep Center and distribution networks across Indonesia. Currently, more than 1,000 dealers operating in 34 provinces of Indonesia support Massindo Group. Comforta Hit the Big Time in Digital Realm

Following Massindo Group’s achievement as Indonesia’s Most Admired Company, Comforta also won Indonesia Digital Popular Brand Award 2017 in spring bed category at Hotel Ayana, Jakarta, on Thursday, June 8, 2017.

Comforta’s success in taking the center stage of digital realm affirms the high consumers’ confidence and loyalty to its products in real life. In particular, Comforta’s strong online and offline presence also demonstrate its nimbleness and superior capability to grow exponentially and compete in the future.

Indonesia Digital Popular Brand Award (IDPBA) is the highest appreciation for the brands that successfully build its popularity on the Internet. Through 2017 Indonesia Digital Brand Index Survey, Tras N Co Research partners with IMFocus Certified Google Partner in assessing brand popularity on the Internet using three parameters, namely Search Engine Based (40 percent), Social Media Based (40 percent), and Website Based (20 percent), which took place from November 2016 to January 2017, covering 137 product categories and more than 1,000 brands.
